Questions about online payments
Do we need our own merchant account with the gateway?
Yes, online payments go through your centre's own merchant account, so the money settles to your bank account. TuitionSync keeps the credentials and records each payment; it does not hold the funds.
What if a parent pays but closes the page before it finishes?
The receipt is still issued once the gateway confirms the payment. TuitionSync relies on the confirmation the gateway sends to it directly, not on the parent's browser, and checks pending payments with the gateway again.
Can we offer bank bill payment alongside online payment?
Yes, you can offer an online payment gateway, JomPay bank bill payment and counter payments together. Every payment is recorded against the same invoices and appears in one payment summary.
