Everything in parent communication
Write an announcement once and send it to the whole centre, a branch, a level or a single class. TuitionSync uses each guardian's preferred channel, groups messages for families with several children and holds them during quiet hours. Routine messages, such as fee reminders and absence alerts, go out automatically from templates in English, Chinese, Malay or Tamil.
- Announcements
- Publish announcements to the organisation, a branch, a level or a class, with attachments and a publishing window. See who has read each one and, when it matters, ask parents to acknowledge it.
- Every channel in one place
- Send through WhatsApp, SMS, push notifications to the family app, email or the in-app inbox. Each guardian's channel preferences and opt-outs are respected.
- Templates in four languages
- Keep message templates for each channel in English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil. Names, classes and amounts fill themselves in, and a mistake in a template is caught when it is saved, before any parent sees it.
- Scheduled and automatic messages
- Schedule broadcasts for later and let routine messages run on their own: fee notices, outstanding reminders, absence alerts, class changes, trials ending and birthday wishes.
- Parent inbox and chat
- Parents find every notice in the family app's inbox and can chat with their child's teachers. Conversations are kept per student, and read markers show what has been seen.
- Delivery log
- Check whether each message was sent, delivered, read or failed, and on which channel. When a provider is temporarily unavailable, messages wait in a queue and are retried automatically.
Questions about parent communication
Do families with several children get one fee reminder or several?
They get one combined reminder. Fee notices and reminders for all the children in a family go out as a single message to each guardian who receives notifications.
Can we stop messages going out late at night?
Yes, by setting quiet hours. Automatic messages that fall due during them wait until the quiet hours end, and guardians can also choose which channels they are contacted on.
Can parents reply to our messages?
Yes, parents can chat with their child's teachers in the family app, and replies to WhatsApp messages arrive in the centre's inbox in TuitionSync so staff can answer them.
