What is TuitionSync?
TuitionSync is a tuition centre management system for tuition, enrichment and learning centres in Malaysia, made by Apply IT Sdn Bhd. It covers students and families, classes and timetables, attendance, fees and payments, parent communication and reports, with a web console for staff and apps for teachers and parents.
Who is TuitionSync for?
TuitionSync is for owners, principals and administrators of tuition and enrichment centres, from a single centre to a chain with many branches. Teachers use the teacher app, and parents and students use the family app.
How much does TuitionSync cost?
TuitionSync does not publish prices yet. Tell us about your centre, such as how many branches and students you have, and we will give you a quote.
Can TuitionSync manage more than one branch?
Yes, all your branches sit under one account, with a head-office view across them and roles that limit staff to the branches they work at. Each branch keeps its own timetable, document numbering and attendance rules.
Can parents pay tuition fees online?
Yes, parents pay from a payment link or the family app through your centre's payment gateway, such as SenangPay or iPay88, or by JomPay bank bill payment. FPX, cards and e-wallets are available depending on your gateway, and receipts are issued automatically.
Does TuitionSync support LHDN e-invoicing?
Yes, TuitionSync submits invoices and credit notes to LHDN MyInvois, tracks their validation status and adds the MyInvois QR code to validated documents. You choose whether documents are submitted as they are issued, nightly or by hand.
Can attendance be taken by face recognition?
Yes, TuitionSync connects to face-recognition terminals and time-attendance systems, such as Hikvision and TimeTec, and turns each check-in into attendance for the right class. Centres without terminals can use QR check-in or mark attendance in the teacher app.
Do parents need to install an app?
No. Fee notices, reminders and payment links reach parents by WhatsApp, SMS or email, and they can pay straight from the link. The family app adds the timetable, attendance, announcements and chat with teachers.
Are there apps for teachers and parents?
Yes, there is a teacher app built around taking attendance, which works offline, and a family app where guardians and students see the timetable, attendance and announcements. Parents can also check fees, pay online and chat with teachers in it.
Can TuitionSync send reminders on WhatsApp?
Yes, fee notices and outstanding reminders can go out on WhatsApp with the statement attached and a link to pay online. Absence alerts and announcements can use WhatsApp too, alongside SMS, email and push notifications.
Does TuitionSync work with our accounting software?
Yes, TuitionSync exports journals, invoices and receipts by period for import into AutoCount or SQL Accounting, and as CSV for other accounting software. The exports come from the same ledger as TuitionSync's own finance reports.
How is our centre's data kept separate and secure?
Each centre's records are kept apart from every other centre's by the database itself, so no other organisation using TuitionSync can read them. Staff see only what their role allows in their branches, every change is kept in an audit trail, passwords are stored one-way and every connection is encrypted.
Which languages does TuitionSync support?
The TuitionSync console is available in English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil. Message templates can be written in each of these languages, so parents receive notices in the language they prefer.
