Everything in teacher and parent apps

The teacher app puts today's classes first: open a session, mark attendance and move on, with or without a signal. The family app shows guardians and students the timetable, attendance and announcements, and lets parents check fees and receipts, pay online and chat with teachers. Both apps use the same login as the console, and a parent whose children attend different centres on TuitionSync sees them together.

Teacher app: attendance first
Today's sessions open straight to the class list, with mark-all, late and excused marks, reasons and replacement students. Teachers can also scan student QR codes or show the class QR code for check-in.
Works offline
Attendance taken without a connection is saved on the phone and sent in order when the connection returns. Teachers can see what is still waiting to be sent in the app's settings.
Family app for guardians and students
Guardians see each child's next class, timetable, attendance and announcements, and switch between children and centres. Students sign in to their own read-only view and check in with the class QR code.
Fees and payments
Parents see invoices, receipts, statements and e-invoices, and pay outstanding fees through your payment gateway with the methods it offers. The receipt appears in the app once the payment is confirmed.
Announcements and chat
Announcements arrive as push notifications and stay in the app's inbox. Parents chat with their child's teachers, and teachers answer from the teacher app alongside their classes.
Students and notes for teachers
Teachers look up the students in their classes, add remarks and merits, and see a monthly summary of their sessions and attendance.

Questions about teacher and parent apps

Do parents need a separate login for each child?

No, one login shows all of a guardian's children, including children at different centres that use TuitionSync, and the parent switches between them in the app.

Can students use the family app?

Yes, students sign in with their own account to a read-only view of their timetable, attendance and announcements, and can check in to class by scanning the class QR code.

Can parents pay fees in the app?

Yes, parents see what is due and pay through your centre's payment gateway, using the methods it offers, such as FPX, cards or e-wallets. The receipt is added to the app when the gateway confirms the payment.
