Everything in classes and timetable

Set up levels, subjects and classes once, and TuitionSync generates every session from the class rules: weekday, time, room and teachers. When a public holiday falls on a class day, the session is shifted, cancelled or held according to your policy. Teachers, students and parents see the same timetable, and changes to a session can notify them automatically.

Levels, subjects and classes
Define your levels, subjects and class types, such as regular, extra, revision and package classes. Each class has its weekday, start time, duration, capacity, teachers and a room or online meeting link.
Sessions from rules
Set up a class once and every lesson appears on the timetable; change the class and the timetable follows. A rescheduled session keeps its original date, so staff can see what was moved and from when.
Teachers, co-teachers and substitutes
Assign a lead teacher and co-teachers to a class, with co-teachers splitting the weeks of the month if you work that way. A substitute can take a single session without changing the class.
Replacement classes
Book a student who missed a class into a replacement session. The replacement is linked to the original absence, so the teacher knows who to expect and the record shows where the lesson was made up.
Holidays and closures
Add public holidays and centre closures for the whole organisation or a single branch. For each one, choose whether affected sessions are shifted to another date, cancelled or held as normal.
Year-end promotion
Move students up to their next level at the end of the year in one run. You see a preview first, and repeating the run does not promote anyone twice.

Questions about classes and timetable

Do we have to create every class session by hand?

No, you define a class once with its weekday, time, room and teachers, and TuitionSync generates its sessions between the start and end dates. You can still reschedule, cancel or edit a single session.

Can a class have more than one teacher?

Yes, a class can have a lead teacher and co-teachers who take different weeks of the month, and a substitute can be assigned to a single session. Each teacher sees their own sessions in the teacher app.

What happens to classes that fall on a public holiday?

They follow the policy you set for that holiday: shifted to another date, cancelled or held as normal. Holidays can be set for the whole organisation or for one branch.
