Questions about messaging and notifications

Which WhatsApp number do the messages come from?

Messages come from your centre's own WhatsApp Business number once it is connected, so parents recognise the sender and can reply. Replies arrive in the centre's inbox in TuitionSync.

What happens if a message cannot be delivered?

It is retried automatically while the provider is temporarily unavailable, and marked as failed in the delivery log if it still cannot be delivered, so staff can follow up another way.

Can parents choose how they are contacted?

Yes, each guardian's channel preferences are kept on their record and notifications follow them. Guardians can also opt out of a channel, for example by replying STOP to an SMS.
